Hart Farm Stallions Sire 1-2 Finishers in Louisiana Purchase Stakes at Delta Downs

VINTON, LA—MAY 8, 2015—Hart Farms stallions sired the 1-2 finishers Friday night in the $40,000 Louisiana Purchases Stakes for 3-year-old & up state-breds on Friday night at Delta Downs.

Ridden by jockey Antonio Alberto, 4-year-old Streakin N Leavin dueled early and held off a late surge by runner-up Allizoom to collect his first career stakes victory. Jess Good Lookin finished neck behind in the show position.

Trainer Manuel Macias saddled the son of CORONAS LEAVING YOU for owner Jose O. Barron to a three-quarter length winning effort. The bay gelding completed the 350 yards in a quick :17.234 seconds to earn a 99 speed index. The $24,000 winner's purse boosted Ld Streakin N Leavin's earnings mark to $77,660.

Bred by Louis Dreyer from the Streakin La Jolla mare Streakin Juanita, his record stands at (17) 4-2-3.

Second place finisher Allizoom is a multiple stakes-placed daughter of FIRST PRIZE PERRY out of the champion mare Lett Her Zoom, by Shzoom. Ana Alvidrez owns the 4-year-old filly conditioned by trainer Martin Trejo. The Stephen Williams bred 4-year-old pushed her career earnings to more than $90,000 after pocketing the second place check of $8,000. David Alvarez had the riding call.

Jess Good Lookin dueled early under jockey John Hamilton but gave-way and had to settle for third place money of $4,400. Michael Taylor trains the Heza Fast Dash 4-year-old for owner Lori Johnson. Bred by Live Oak Farms, from the Mr Jess Perry mare Morin Jess, Jess Good Lookin is a graded-stakes placed earner of $130,249.

Completing the Louisiana Purchase field were Voncitas Game, Shesa Dashingromance, Chale Viejo, Bjs Case Of Crown, Zoomin For Bugs, Sir Prize, and Aint Eye Grey.
